What this is
Bunk-a-Biker is a network for meeting people on the road, making road family, and getting help when a bike needs it. It is a privilege to use rather than a way to save money — the point is the togetherness and support of a motorcycle community.
No money changes hands between a guest and a host. Ever. If a host asks you to pay, tell us.
How it works
- Find a host near your route. The map shows what each one offers — inside space, outside space, covered parking, tools, a meal, or just local knowledge.
- Get in touch, properly. Say who you are, when you need a bed, how many of you there are, and what you ride. Hosts are people with jobs and families, not hotels.
- Turn up when you said you would. And if you cannot, say so as early as you can. Communication is the whole thing.
You do not have to host
Plenty of people here only ever ride. Apartments, no parking, family, health — none of that says anything about whether you are good to have around. If you do have space, of any kind, you are welcome to put a pin on the map.
You do not need social media
The network started on Facebook and there are still regional groups there, but you can use Bunk-a-Biker without any of it.
